Case study - a small creasing tile extension in the rural Peak District
Architect - Ashley Hinchliffe Studio
Dreadnought red clay creasing tiles
This small extension at the rear of a terraced house in the Peak District allowed the interior to be reconfigured to create an open plan kitchen and living space. The demolished bricks were recycled for the side elevation of this end of terrace and Dreadnought creasing tiles were laid in a stacked bond to beautifully knit together the old and the new.
