Vertical tiling

Vertical tiling became popular during the Arts and Crafts movement in the late 19th Century, early 20th Century and it is often used today to add detail to buildings, particularly at first floor level and at gable ends as well as around dormer windows.  Ornamental tiles are often used and in different colours to create a striking effect.  Dreadnought supply a range of ornamental tiles as well as  external and internal angle tiles to provide robust and neat finishes to the corners. Here are some examples of vertical tiling projects using Dreadnought clay tiles.
