Blue Brindle/Dark Heather

Blue Brindle - Smoothfaced

Similar to Staffordshire Blue, Blue Brindle and Dark Heather are a predominantly blue colour, with subtle shade differences of lighter blue and purple hues.

Dark Heather - Sandfaced

Private House, Poole

This project clearly demonstrates the versatility of Plain Tiles and their capacity for enabling roofing details to be included such as the staggered outline provided by bonnet hips, the gentle curve of change of pitch of a sprocket and the features and shadows formed by the introduction of dormer windows, differing roof levels and ornamental banding.

The Blue Brindle tiles together with all the roof components used have played their part in this fabulous house in Poole.  View case study.

Dark Heather Sandfaced tiles provide a strong contrast to the honey coloured stonework at this accommodation block, at Middle Aston, Nr Banbury.

On this self build property the Blue Brindle tiles have been broken up with bands of Dark Heather Club tiles.  Note the use of Bonnet Hips on the octagonal roof, the ornamental ridges and fleur de lys finial
